About Me

My journey with chronic pain started when I was 12 years old after waking up one random morning and being unable to walk. I’ve spent the last 20 years learning to navigate an autoimmune condition (Ankylosing Spondylitis) in hopes of achieving the best prognosis possible.

Having grown up with Ankylosing Spondylitis (a hereditary autoimmune condition), I understood how chronic pain could significantly affect one’s well-being. I’ve seen the progressive condition worsen in my father over the decades, as his doctors never advocated for any treatments besides medication. I inherently knew there had to be other ways of treating the condition and spent 20 years post-diagnosis finding solutions.

As I looked for the missing piece, I began realizing there was no single thing that made a significant and sustainable change. It was an accumulation of many factors - stress, sleep, exercise, mobility, social environment, mental patterns, etc. However, one modality that stood out above the rest was the Wim Hof Method (cold exposure and breathwork).

With a background in Kinesiology and Education, I’ve spent the last 5 years fulfilling my purpose of teaching clients the tools necessary to make positive shifts in their chronic pain. The last 2 years have been spent as a Certified Wim Hof Instructor teaching cold exposure and breathwork in workshop, retreat and private settings. My vision is to educate and provide an immersive experience of these modalities to a larger audience. I hope to contribute to what will be a dramatic shift in the way society approaches physical health. I would love to see a systemic change in the way we address Ankylosing Spondylitls and other forms of chronic pain. I plan to be a living example of this way of existing and hope it can inspire some along the way.
