Hello.

I’m Dave.

I’ve had Ankylosing Spondylitis for the last 21 years. My dad has had it for 40 years with a fully fused spine. Similar genetics yet very different outcomes. Lifestyle matters.

I’m here to share the simple and hard lessons we’ve learned along the way.

I grew up watching my dad suffer through Ankylosing Spondylitis. When I was diagnosed, I was determined to try everything possible to have a better life with AS.

The first 15 years were extremely difficult, but I’d eventually find complete management of my symtpoms through a combination of western medicine, eastern philosophies, cold exposure, breathwork, strength training, nervous system management, and an intense curiosity to challenge the status quo on what “experts” were saying about AS.

As a Kinesiologist and Personal Trainer, I have found my purpose working with clients who are looking to find sustainable solutions to their chronic pain or Ankylosing Spondylitis. I am highly interested in educating my clients with the proper knowledge and application techniques so they can become their own body mechanics. I only started thriving when I started actively approaching my nervous system and body (instead of relying so passively on other treatments).

I am confident that most people with chronic pain or AS can make small incremental changes that’ll allow them to drastically alter their symptoms over time. It isn’t easy as it can take a strong desire to stay consistent. But for my clients and myself, the trade off of a pain-free life is well worth it.
